casting platform

I was thinking that maybe bu cutting another piece of plywood that will fit in the bottom at the base of the front bench seat with 4"x4' holes cut to slide two of three posts down and keep them in place. I am fisherman not a carpenter. Might give it a go or else just continue to stand on the front ...

I also have thought about that for my 14' seanymph, my question is what is the best way to support the platform in the bow. I also wonder how the particle board will hold up in the weather year after year.

Rumor has it that some of the local boys in the UP are pushing to open up the water on the Wisonsin-MI border to spearing. It seems as though the DNR is listening. One of my buddies typically does best earlier in the year but I would think that when the whitefish and ciscos are starting to push the shallows to spawn, a man might find a big one on the first shelf chasing the bait around. me and a buddy are planning on spending hours up here this fall chasing ski's what is the info avaliable. I do know that there are very few but some big ones. no shame in the game two days for one fish is okay. Has anyone night trolled these bodies of water :twisted:
