Due to the fish escaping through the dams, there aren't the amount
of fish in these lakes that there should be. Fish the old river channel edges, but be prepared to put in ALOT of time to contact just one fish.

I see geese with small goslings going wherever they want on Ovid. I haven't noticed any fear on the part of the geese to be out far from shore with their little ones.

That's because they don't have access to the stocking reports for the last couple years. Hah! Maybe. Or maybe the muskies don't ...

Yup. No northern strain reared this year, just GLS. Because of that the goal of GLS fall fingerlings has been moved up from 20K to 40K. If the GLS ...

With gas at $3.39 here, predicting $3.75 by April, and i've even heard $5.00 thrown around by July, will these prices affect the way or how much you fish?
If they stay this high there will definately be less trips to Saginaw Bay for me this year.

I am unable to attend the outing, and Scott is in need of a gas grill
to cook lunch on, (he only loves me for my grill)

Does anyone have a grass grill they can bring along to help
