When the water clears up (which I assume it hasn't quite yet) you can see down to the bottom at 6-7 when it is sunny. It generally is no where near as turbid as hudson or ovid, but when it rains it gets muddy.BrokenWing wrote:What is the water like in Sanford? Is it stained like Hudson or clear like LSC?

I picked the net right away option. But this isn't always the best option, depending on who is doing the netting. Like my brother or some other inexperienced net person always trys to do the swoop em in like he's catching butterflies in a field. When this is done, the muskie will imediately go on an ...

I just want to coment on Lac View Desert: For some reason they do have an unusually high number of tiger muskie in there. I have only fish this lake one solid day, and I boated two tigers (small). On the board at the campground I stayed at there were some pictures of some giants.

my opinion of peavy, is it's a beatiful looking body of water. However, don't expect to go up there and tear em up, because it is a relitively low density population. But the way I look at it is, who cares and enjoy the scenery, and maybe catch a nice size fish. Another plus though about that lake ...

Kids and muskie fishing
Hello all, I just was thinking lately how to get my daughter into muskie fishing. She is almost 6, and even taking her bluegill or perch fishing is quite a chore. I took her up to the cuts last week and it was only about 55 degrees out, and within 5 minutes she was allready too cold. If its not that ...

That was a blast I'd have to say. Finallly, got to put a face to some of the screen names I see on here all the time. Met lots of cool people. Learned some potenial fishing "hotspots" And got to get rid of all the baits that just don't do it for me. I think musky dan had a good time too, cuz he wasn ...
