I live in the Soo, im looking to get a new boat to fish up here but im not sure what to get. I cant aford much, something under $3000 we be about the best I could do. I live in Sault Ste. Marie. I can tell the St. Mary's is good musky water down south toward drummond, but there isn't much up here by the locks. I quick went around in my bag, I had the big jitterbug topwater but no leaders with me. Another cool thing is that I motored on over there about 30 seconds after it happened and it was only 1 foot of water, but there was a big drop off along side the weeds

I was catfishing the thornapple river, I was on my way back, watching a big moscrat swim along a weed bed then out of the blue, something came up a just destroyed it. There was no struggle to be seen I didnt see the fish, but wa=hatever it was it hit a big target and must have killed it rite away. c...

yep your right, sledge. Lookes kinda like a reef hawg. Im probily going to campau on the opener cuz its a 5min drive, an Im thinking about working some rocks just because they heat up faster. I know thats a tactic for bass but I dont know about muskies
