weeds are pretty thick right now, yet very defined weedlines. You can keep baits in the strike zone pretty easily as long as you are paying attention. There are some good fish to be caught out there. try that link. Fished it again yesterday with no luck. Very hot and the water was up to 89 degrees in some spots. Not to surprised there was no success.

well thanks for the tips guys! we went 1/1 with a very healthy fish. Fish was 41.5" and close to 20 lbs. Hit on a double cowgirl black with orange blades. Id post the picture if I knew how! haha

Thanks for the info! Figures the water would be warm pushing them deeper. Were you throwing buck tails?

Has anybody had any luck on Lake Ovid this year? Have been spending most of my fishing time on LSC and havent made it to ovid yet this year. Since it is a much closer trip, it makes evening trips a little easier after work. Just wanted to see what has been going on out there..
