This past year I used exclusively wire... except trolling. I also started using split rings about 75% of the time as opposed to snaps. I felt very confident in my connections... though I had my worst season as a musky angler. Didn't seem to have nearly as many follows as years past, but it may have ...

Way to early for me to know how I will fish. Water temp could be 50 or 65 and that will play into my decision. I've caught fish on 10" baits on the opener so I usually don't let bait size effect my thoughts that much... though I will have a more small baits in my box in spring than fall. I can't wai...

Rainbow Bend already has a special little place in my heart. One of the few places I've ever had any luck river fishing for Kings.

As this weather cools it does get a little tougher, but with time on the water... eventually good things will happen. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

You might have tough time finding a quality outfit for $130. I would definitely purchase a baitcasting reel, and invest in some quality superbraided line (PowerPro, Spiderwire, etc.) As for the rod it might depend on which types of baits (weight, type).

Rodney scares me every time he touches the ball, but as Corey said the numbers don't lie. I had no problem with Rodney being out there for 4 innings. He was still throwing hard at the end of it, plus they didn't have anybody left on the bench with as good of stuff as Rodney has. If anything IMO Leyl...

It was a tough one, but I still love my Tigers!!!

Would've liked them to give Inge the base when he was hit with bases loaded in the 12th, but the Twins had a little bit of Devine Intervention workin for em.

I know he's only a rookie, but I like Porcello's chances of keeping the Tigers in the game. If the Tigers can put up a few for him early I really like the Tigers chances... but the Twins are scary.

I do not have the gas tank covered, but the officer still told me I needed one. Probably not a bad idea to have one, but I was surprised to hear this. Maybe TF will chime in to set me straight.

fire extinguisher notice

Last time I was on Thorn I was stopped by a Barry County officer and he was doing the safety check. Everything was fine, but then he asked if I had a fire extinguisher. I said, "No my boat is only 14 feet, I didn't think I needed one." He informed me that since my boat has a floor added to it that I...

Hey,
Did you read this in Kid Coulson's book of Muskie Riddles.
