the 7000 with the 4.1:1 gear ratio is very nice for pulling in big bucktails because the reel does all the work for you. the 7000s with the 4.1:1 work great for big bucktails and other big baits but i dont like them for a lot of situations because the gear ratio is so low you have to work really hard (reel really fast) to fish a lot of baits correctly.
