There is a nice campground in Central Lake on the north end of Intermediate Lake, not sure of the name. There is a nice launch at the campground. I prefer the cabins at Cedars Resort on BenWay Lake myself. Not sure what the rates would run during the outing as I tend to stay there during the offseas...

Ooh Bell's in EL used to be a favorite, especially on the way home from a party. Not that I ever partied it up at MSU!

I won't be making any day trips longer than an hour and a half drive. Looks like if/when I go to St. Clair I'll be making it a 3 day trip to get the most out of my gas money. Still planning on the I Chain May 18-22 at Cedars. Probably have fewer evening outings, and focus more on fishing long days w...

I must be the worst fisherman in the club, because my catch rates were nothing near the previous few post. I averaged 1 fish in the boat every 20 hours. I only caught 9 this year 6 more in the boat by guest. 6 fish over 40" with the biggest being a 47.5" PB for my brother caught on the 8 on a day tr...

Those are pretty scary numbers, especially with the rate of harvest of the fish that have been tracked. Hopefully we can use the data from this research to get regulations in place that are best for this body of water.

Slow! Tough water in that area for sure. But if you hook one she could be HUGE! Good luck!

I would get back in the woods with my bow more often

Also, I'd probably catch fish when I did go fishing, like I did before these muskies.

The thing that im curious about is are the livewells in the charter boats on st clair the same temp as the surface temp? If not i would imagine a huge shock on a fish putting it back into a warm surface temp after sitting in a cool tank I could be wrong but I believe the increase in oxygen is the b...
