Shimano Calcutta Question

I am replacing the handle on my Calcutta 400 with a power handle. I have lost the rivet that pins the piece that keeps the locking nut from coming loose on the reel handle. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement for this rivet or where I can find the Shimano part number to order another one?...

I agree with you that lakes with very high fishing pressure and poor reproduction need special regulations and maybe a slot limit is not the right way to manage them, but I dont think the lakes you mentioned fall into this category. When you have 400 pike caught in a single tournament with only 2 fi...

I like the idea of a slot limit but I think it should be more directed towards protecting the larger breeders. Personally I think the slot should be 28-38 or even up to 40. That would allow those from the catch and keep crowd who catch a true trophy pike over 40" the ability to keep it for mount but...

Also, question 7: How important are these factors in determining the quality of your muskellunge fishing experience in Michigan? (Please select your answer and complete all 8 categories.) option 6: The number of muskellunge kept. This question seems very misleading. I could read this 2 different way...

Wanted: Rod/Reel combo

Not sure if this is the right section to post this in or not but... I have a friend who is looking to get into muskie fishing and is looking to buy a used rod and reel for a novice. He does not want to spend too much on a brand new set up so he would like to find a somewhat cheap set up to start wit...

I figured that much since I couldnt find them anywhere but was hoping maybe they did. I have the 201B already on my smaller rod and really like it but just bought an 8'6"er St. Crois Premier XH rod and wanted to get the heavier version of the Calcutta for it. Might have to just bite the bullet and p...

Calcutta 401B

Quick question. Does anyone know if Shimano makes the Calcutta 400B in the left handed orientation? I cant find a 401B for sale anywhere online. The 401CTE is the only one I can find but the TE version is a good $120 more and I dont really see that much of an upgrade from the regular Calcutta to jus...
