I have a Curado 201B for sale if you are interested. Its a year and a half old and I only used it for a half a season so its just about brand new. I liked the reel alot for throwing cranks and spinners but I used it more for bass and pike and not for muskie and I rarely use those types of baits for ...

Yes, all of them have been stocked at about the same rate for the past 10 years or so. I have a buddy with a shack on Secord that says there are some huge largemouth there but he has never targeted muskie. The only time I was there we were bass fishing and I had a real heavy pickup on a plastic that...

Right now I am thinking Secord and Smallwood since my boat is just a little row boat with a 6 horse on it and these seem like small narrow ...

Got this one on top water which usually works well in the stained water...if its slow on top water use something bigger that suspends with a slow retrieve that you can pause and twitch/jerk. Thats what Iv had the most luck with for big pike. Good luck, it really is an amazing place, my favorite plac...

I think its like 6 miles back to the parking spot on a two-track with lots of big rocks so make sure your car the clearance to get back there but once you get to the parking area its only about an 1/8 of a mile to the water to carry your canoe and gear. If your alone bring a canoe dolly, it helps ou...

Mostly upper 20s to 36 range with the occasional 40, havent fished Michigamme in awhile tho. I hear it has quite a few natural hybrids in it too since up there the spawn crosses more often. The Peshekee River actually connects to Craig Lake which is a state park that does not allow motorized boats a...

If you have a decent sized boat, Lake Michigamme is close by, only about 30 minutes west of Marquette. I have done well there for big pike and have seen several muskies taken there. Its a big pretty big lake with lots of bays and islands. Target these islands and bays as well as the rivers going in ...

Ill be fishin Torch Lake area this weekend, with these temps and 25 mph winds I might need to bring my Nove...
