I've got a 7000 for big bucktails and I prefer it to my other reels for the double 10's. Even though the reel is heavier, I get less fatigued using it and cranking easier. Also the HUGE spool size can really get some speed even with the low gear ratio... I don't have a problem moving them fast! That...

I knew I had this around somewhere in the house! This was my first ever Wings game. My dad got a few free tickets from a guy at work and he brought me and my brother. I had to miss a high school baseball game and my coach benched me for a few more, but it was worth it [smilie=2thumbsup.gif] A moment...

I usually repack mine every spring, and at least check them before any big trips. I also carry an extra set of bearings with me just in case.

I think that much of it may have to do with how well you hooked the fish, and how hungry that fish is. If you have an active hungry fish, poorly hooked for a couple seconds when it shakes loose, I wouldn't be surprised to see that fish eat again that day. I think I caught the same fish I had lost af...

Re: Ballast water

Macatawa could use a couple million sheepshead knocked off. I dont know if Holland would be able to stand the stink though. Kingfisher Macatawa had a huge drum die-off last year. Thousands of drum, many shad, pike, walleye, and muskies all were found dead last year. I thought VHS was there last spr...

Bryan, I've got the CM200... 5.2:1 gear ratio. I use it for chuckin big stuff... 3-7 ounce baits... and it has held up well. One time it made a little bit of noise, I pulled it apart... oiled it and it was as good as new next cast. It has been worth the money so far... but I've only got maybe 50 goo...

I really like my new Tica Caiman... the gold one. I haven't had it long enough to put serious hours on it, but it is very smooth, and it is very easy to take apart for maintenance. If it still holds up for a full season I will be very happy. So far... so good!!

Merry Christmas to everybody and your families. I hope everybody gets what they wanted, I'm hoping for a new ST. Croix rod that I've been asking for (got my fingers crossed).

Keep it safe
