I realize maybe this should be another thread, but before we get too excited with what "the plans" are HReef raises a good point. The economy / state government is a wreck. Is there a real possibility the whole thing could be put on hold?

There's no shortage of water with some real nice opportunities at a big one. I would recommend a half day or fulll day guide for the first day.
