Hey guys where is a good place to camp on the northern chain? Where do you all stay for the outting up here?
If I'm not going to catch fish. I might as well not be catching Muskies...

There is a nice campground in Central Lake on the north end of Intermediate Lake, not sure of the name. There is a nice launch at the campground. I prefer the cabins at Cedars Resort on BenWay Lake myself. Not sure what the rates would run during the outing as I tend to stay there during the offseason.

Michelle and I stayed at Thurston. Very nice little campground. Close to food and gas. Right on the north end of Intermediate lake. Mike

The wooden shoe will definitely do the trick. It's pretty nice but nothing special. And its hard to beat the burgers and pizza at the golden nugget... and you definitely can't beat the cinnamon rolls at the front porch.
