Lake Ovid Reprt

Post by waterwolfhunter » Mon Jun 25, 2012 6:31 pm

Has anybody had any luck on Lake Ovid this year? Have been spending most of my fishing time on LSC and havent made it to ovid yet this year. Since it is a much closer trip, it makes evening trips a little easier after work. Just wanted to see what has been going on out there..

I caught one and moved three others yesterday, but have had not much success there so far this year, or anywhere else for that matter. Weeds look quite good, visibility about 6' in most places, temp 75-77°F.

Thanks for the info! Figures the water would be warm pushing them deeper. Were you throwing buck tails?

Waterwolf,

There is a photo forum in the members section that has a sticky with great instructions by Will on how to post pictures. I always enjoy seeing other people's fish since I seem to catch so few of my own.
If I'm not going to catch fish. I might as well not be catching Muskies...

try that link. Fished it again yesterday with no luck. Very hot and the water was up to 89 degrees in some spots. Not to surprised there was no success.
