D-Mac's back (Hockey)

Post by MuskyPimp »

*Disclaimer*This post has nothing to due with muskies.

So its official, the improbable comeback of Darren McCarty has brought him back with the Wings. I doubt he will be able to provide much more than some grit, tickets sales and locker room presence, but still it will be nice to see him in the wing wheeled sweater again. Kind of got me feeling nostalgic, I realize its been almost 11 years but……

I saw him play a couple tune up games here in G.R. Sure it is not the glory days, but the boy can still flat out play his style of hockey!!!!

The guy is a loser! I've met him several times, he's been to my house. He was dating a friend of mine... WHILE married at the time... no surprise. She later found out about all kinds of women, drugs, and gambling all over the country. This man had the world by the ass, and pissed it all away.

He should be picking up our garbage, and it just a publicity stunt to sell tickets.

He deserves far worse!
Lets save this planet!

Oh yeah that was SWEET!!! Man those were good times, one of those moments we can all remember where we were that day... now that is one to hang your hat on Scott! You were there the day the Wings won the unofficial 1st game of the playoffs in their Cup run. Huge

Best moment I can claim was Stevie's Game 7 double OT winner vs. St.Louis the year before- we were 12 rows up right behind Casay.

And of course you're right about Mac- no one ever said he was blessed with brains. Unfortuantely he's the black sheep in the Wings family, I have to admit its cool to see him back and who knows, maybe he might shore up his personal life?

I knew I had this around somewhere in the house! This was my first ever Wings game. My dad got a few free tickets from a guy at work and he brought me and my brother. I had to miss a high school baseball game and my coach benched me for a few more, but it was worth it [smilie=2thumbsup.gif]
