It's only 31 day's till the opner, but who's counting. The question is where will you be opening day? I'll be at Hudson.

Undecided- choice will be weather & water temperature dependent and right now that is WAY too tough to tell! It will be a breakthrough year though simply because I think I finally convinced my blockhead brother that the goal on opener does not have to be to just put fish in the boat. Got him to think a little bigger than that, and accept that a sound skunking on opener is not the end of the world!...

If your looking for the hot bite the Detroit river is the place tobe...June thru July, Fighting Island canuck side.. Trolling good old Buck Perry Spoonplugs !!! Its all about DEPTH & SPEED control, A lure walking or bumping is all that is needed.

C'mon, Jason!! I was gonna start at Campau in the morning, then Murray. well, maybe I'll switch the two around. I bought a fish camera this winter for ice fishing, and before the ice, I took it to campau. works slick. saw 3 muskies in 40 min. I'm thinkin' I'm gonna go on the Fri. before and do some scouting, see where the good weeds are, then hit them hard opener.

Won't get out on opener but I'm torn between Ovid and Hudson. It'll depend on whether or not I can convince my fishing parter to get up at 0430 to drive to Hudson or not.
