This looks like a great program. I am an Operation Iraqi Freedom (2004-2006)vet and suffer from PTSD and a host of other issues related to that service. I have been a musky fisherman since I was a boy, but once 9/11 hit I went into warrior mode and up until a month ago, did not wet a line. Well, my wife suggested buying a boat and getting out on the water again (probably because I was driving her crazy), which I did within 24 hours of her suggestion! I wanted to get it before she changed her mind!

Well, I can tell you, this is what has been missing for the last 8 years. It has been VERY therapeutic to get out on Bankson or Austin (my home waters) and re-experience the old rhythm of cast, retreive, watch the water, figure eight, repeat. The sights, the sounds, the familiar smells have had a restorative effect, especially when I see that dark brownish green rocket coming in behind my Suick. Best part about it is being able to do it with my kids in the boat, passing down traditions and lore that my father, uncles, and grandfathers passed to me. The mysterious ways of the musky...

Thanks for your service Raptor. Gotta love The Legend (FB). We will have to go fishing soon at Austin or Bankson. I am a 02-03 OEF, OSW, and OIF guy. I promise not to talk dust or heat with ya.
