Barbed Hooks? or Barbless

Hi, I'm fairly new to Muskie fishing, and my question is should I file the barbs off of my hooks or leave em on. I'll be practicing catch and release, and from the times I've been in Canada fishing for Northern's, de-barbing the hook was a lot easier than dealing with the barbs, but I don't wanna lose that big Muskie.....just curious what everyone else's thoughs are.
