Im new to muskie and I haven't got one all year. Im hopeing to catch my first soon, I heard the fall is the best time to go. Anybody have any tips to use in the fall

Wish I could help ya Biiigfish but this is a tuff time for me also. I know alot of people go big or go home this time of year.

This is one of my favorite seasons to fish although not necessarily the "best" time. With cooler air temperatures, the water temperature dropping, most of the pleasure boaters off of the lake and the fish "putting on the feed bag" it is just a great time to be on the water.
Most anglers tend to start to slow their presentation down a bit with regards to speed. Glide baits start to see more playing time. A good time to troll as well.

The fall feeding frenzy really is a myth. From a physiological perspective cooler water means they have to eat less often and therefore should be harder to catch. However, in some places schooling baitfish can concentrate muskies in such a way that it appears to be a feeding frenzy but in reality you just have a bunch of fish concentrated. The cooler water and slower metabolism also allows the fish to retain calories consumed making them heavier than summer. Keep in mind that much of the weight gain on larger fish (females) is from eggs that started to develop in August.

As far as fishing and how to...
Personally I don't change much from what and how I was fishing until the water gets cold (below 50). The same areas that held fish all summer generally hold fish until ice up, they may be shallower or deeper but good structure is good structure.

I have better luck in the fall with bigger baits 10inch size.

Right Will! I guess I needed to be more specific when I mentioned" putting on the feed bag". I was simply referring to schooled baitfish such as cisco, shad, whitefish, etc,, that can and do bunch up or school up in the fall and in turn attract predators...musky!
