I know I know this is a Muskie website, but if you have battled a King in the river before it too is a great challenge.
Got to the PM about 530 last night in the tiny town of branch, of Landon road I hooked about 60, and landed 7, many big hens we released. Off South branch road we hooked about 30 this morning and did awesome anign about 10, with many over the 20lb mark. A lot of folks are crying how fishing is so slow up there, and they can't catch them, well let me tell you , they are in there, in one hole along i see over 50 fish come out and run to the next hole...so it was a rockin trip. If anyone has info to share, or wants some i will gladly pass it on - Bryan

Thanks for the info. I hope to get up there next week. We usually fish Taylor road area, but I have been hearing south branch has a ton of fish.

My good buddy here at work, while fishing for salmon on pere marquette, has caught 2 little muskies there in his last 3 trips. A pearl J-plug seems to be the ticket...and he's got some upper 30" pike too. I'd bet PM gets some monster spawners in the spring, eh?
