Hamlin plants

Was shown the article today from the Ludington Daily News of the recent muskie plants. The fisheries biologist stated when the next pond was to be drained at Wolf Lake, and followed that by saying that the planting would take place that same day. :shock:Doesn't that go against company rules???

I'm guessing Finlander means stating publically where and when the fish are going to be planted before they are....Will, you posted previously that the DNR normally doesn't do that to protect the fingerlings.

OK, now that I read your post again I understand - sorry. I think it's less of a concern on Hamlin where there is a lot of support for the program. However, it's not a great idea to broadcast the planned stocking date.
