I got back earlier today. I went early on Fri and spent some time there Fri afternoon.

A little small for the drive, but I just felt like going. My first show.
Picked up a decent deal on a 5600C4. $80 ish from Rollie and Helens. Came with a reel fill of Stren superbraid or Spider Wire Stealth. I had it filled with the Stren as I already picked up the SpiderWire so I can compare them. It also came with another spool of superbraid, a hat, and a softsided Abu box.

Everyone I dealt with from this shop was great BTW.

I also joined MMA chapter of M/I.


I've got cabin fever now, and am trying to get by on videos, and rigging a new depthfinder, GPS, and Kicker motor.

There is upcoming musky show in Columbus Ohio (Feb 24-26th:http://www.ohiomuskieshow.com) ..May be bigger than Mil show.... Its about 3 hrs to Columbus from SE Mich..just watch speed limits..They seem to target those of us with Michigan plates.. (especially those that say Go Green or Go Blue...just tell them Go Green means a musky..)
