In light of new regulations, it might be a good idea to have the last sentence of the MI DNR page on muskies changed: Northern pike, bass, sunfish and yellow perch as well as some aquatic insects prey upon muskie young and severely reduce their numbers. Those that survive to adulthood probably need...

I guess there was an article about boat control by Steve Herbek, that was the one I was looking for.

Anyone have the June/July and August/September of 07' issues of Musky Hunter and would you be willing to scan an article from each?

Boat registration transfer?

If a boat registration was in someone else's name but expires next year, can I use it under that registration?

I've hear people mention this before and didn't think that you could. For example when selling a boat the seller may say-"tags are good for 2 more years", or something similar to that.

Based on what I have seen, a two person/team event makes it harder to increase attendance. And the expense is too high for the guy (that has his first 3 fishing buddies not able to make it) who decides to fish by himself. Being a 1 event 2 person team helps, but any time you need to get a commitment...

btw i'd offer you a room, but we don't really have the room. There is a room in the basement that was finished but needs to be completely re-done. If it were in better condition it'd be yours.

(plus we aren't even there yet. Been waiting on plumber/contractor to finish up)

Where are you working.

We bought a place in Three Rivers for cheap. Might be worth looking to buy, stay there till next year then flip for more money. We could sell ours for a bunch more $$$ than we paid/have into it. Owner was looking to sell.

FWIW I'm talking SUB 10K houses LOL

I'm not set on TI rods. I really don't know in fact. I only know I would like to find telescoping rods.

Rod selection.

Time for me to face it....I've been out of the game for years now. Things need to be updated, and I need to add to what I have. So I need some new rods. One VERY important thing for me is being able to fit in the new rod box when I modify the deck of the boat this winter. So that leaves me looking a...

I love my 101 Maxxum and the responsiveness of turning quickly but it's a pain in the butt in heavy winds or in really fast current on LSC. I can see the IPilot being great to spot-lock once a fish is hooked, landed etc in the heavy current. Or to fish without having to touch the pedal or motor aft...

I just bought a new 70lb v2 w/o universal sonar or auto pilot for 650 so that price is awesome!!! On a side note, with the power drives you have to give up the foot control in order to put on the I-pilot, is it worth it? Not sure how I would do it... I kinda need two hands to cast retrieve. It prob...
