Ok, here's something more solid, I hope..... Whatever you use you want it to "squeek" as you retrieve it to the boat. For example, my very best TopRaider does a high-pitched "erk erk erk" with every turn of the tail. The shaft is kinda pocked and coroded. I was told by a couple of folks with whom I'...

Never used one. But I do indeed target families of geese when the little ones are little. I figure a muskie or two is always stalking in shallow near those baby geese. I throw a single-hook spinnerbait right onto shore in the middle of the family and bring it back fast thru the shallows. A topwater,...

If you think yer heading into timber, timber that includes deadheads just below the surface, travel with yer electric motor. If you must use your gas motor, trim it way up and go very slow. If you roll up onto a deadhead (you'll know it when it happens, and it happens all the time on many waters) hi...

I'm not the man, man, but thanks. Please realize this can't happen without help from folks like you, whoever is reading this. It's a "we" thing, not a "me" thing. And you are "we" so send me yer stuff, please. ps - just got two classic books (Muskies on the Shield) from Dick Pearson, both with perso...

My target date for mail-out is September 1.

Seems like a long ways off but while folks are sending me stuff I'm visiting bookstores, coffee shops, gyms, etc, to personally ask for help. Those guys then need a few weeks to help collect and I go back to pick up.

Thanks for all the help!!

Book Drive for Troopers Announcement

1) Here's the deal....I do annual book drives to collect reading material to send to our troops overseas. I'm asking you to PLEASE send me stuff and then I'll box it all up and send it to the troops. The value of this sort of effort can be best summed up by a post made last June on MuskieFirst... 2)...

MuskieFirst Matchfishing Idea - MI Representation

Hey Folks, Seems this year's MuskieFirst (M1) Match Fishing program isn't getting as much participation as in the past, though those who have signed on are really good. I like M1 and have had a lot of fun with the program. I'm in already, with my dog Shady as my pard. Really. But I'm slightly concer...

I happen to be in the market for a boom shocking deal. See, one of my side jobs is providing high-tech devices to the porn industry. A boom shocker can handle a whole room full of ner-do-wells all at one time. I'll stop here on the details. In the end the money is pretty good but to be honest field ...

local computer fix-it resource

I took my crashed 1994 Dell to this guy in Lawton who works out of his house. A referral from a neighbor and a really great outcome. He diagnosed my main problem, simply a blown screen and then proceeded to totally clean up my system. I won't go into details but my 'puter is about 10X faster now. Si...

Our Acres Bait Shop on M-40 (about a two miles north of Paw Paw) had some nice ones over the winter, "decoys" for the darkhouse folks.

So, a good place to try, nice folks, too. 269-657-5410.
