The Abu repair center is also very responsive. However, as much as it pains me to admit it as a long time Ambassadeur guy, the quality of their reels has gone down hill since Berkley bought them out.

I certainly don't want to make this personal Will but I am entitled to my opinion. An opinion shared by Pete as well whom I think is one of the people in the club most up on the science. How about you show me some science about why the DNR would allow northern strain muskies to be stocked in a lake ...

I agree that Wolf Lake has made great strides and I'm hopeful for the future but we should give it a few years to see if Wolf Lake can keep up the success rate they have achieved in the last two yerars. Sanford and the other chain lakes up here have never received their full perscriptions (i.e., a f...

Bomba did most of the heavy lifting and deserves the most thanks. It was a good time. Will, glad to hear you say that. Now please help Pete and I get some more fish from the DNR.

Brian K:

Heard you popped a nice one last weekend, congrats. Got a picture? If so bring it this weekend or at the tourney. Sounds like I should have been on Sanford (or St. Clare trolling for sturgeon like Will) instead of Georgian Bay with Bomba last weekend but he and I had a blast anyway.

Hey Brian: You and I spoke about 2 weeks ago, I have that new Ranger 621. I personally can never get a suick to work correctly however I've had fairly decdent success on Big Daddys on Sanford. A Big Daddy is a cross between a suick and a Bobbie. They work about 5 to 6 feet down and I throw them a lo...

Singing to the choir there Don. Now you know the level of ignorance we Sanford locals experience on a near daily basis. It pains me that folks keep and cook the skis in Sanford but unless you catch them breaking the law, you can't stop them from keeping them over 42. You can talk to them, try to edu...

Kudos

Kudos to Ron Berry for winning the musky prize at today's Sanford Northern Pike Open and for helping us to get the sponsors of the tourney to require that the musky prize be a no transport one. Ron caught a 43 1/8 incher (by the way we think it is the same fish I caught Wednesday night in the same a...
