Where to get rod repairs done?

Post by LonB » Sun Jan 22, 2006 8:56 am

I have one rod with a loose reel seat. I figure with some epoxy I can probably do that one.

I also have a broken guide on another rod. I'd like to get both of these fixed instead of throwing them out. They are cheap rods but work fine otherwise.

Lon:

Not sure where you live but I use a guy out of Frank's Great Outdoors in Linwood. I think his name is mike, he does it on the side when he's not working at Franks. Go to the fly counter in the back and ask for him.

Lon,
Patriot Custom Fishing Rods in Gobles repairs rods. Their website is www.patriotcustomrods.com I got a couple guides replaced and they do an excellent job. They can also build you a rod and they also supply some ice fishing rods to Gander Mountain.
