Can hanging a bell sinker on a crank enable you to troll that thing faster? Or do i shop for a narrow minnow style with a narrow lip? Talking 5 mph or so.

Mini Balls

Post by Kingfisher » Wed Feb 08, 2006 11:28 pm

Most guys on Lake St. Claire add an inline mini Ball from 2 to 16 oz ahead of the lures. They do three things. #1 they catch weeds and keep them off the lures #2 they keep super wild running lures from blowing out and coming to the surface at higher speeds and#3 they help get lures deeper. Kingfisher ps ,stop over Ill show you the rig.
