I think it's hilarious that you put Wisconsin on that list... why not include Indiana while you're at it.

The only thing for sure is that it will come from the water. That is unless Spray comes back from the grave to pull our chain on another World Record.

Don't laugh... the other night a guy told me that a 54" muskie was caught in Murray last week. It has to be true, three different people told him the same story.

It must be the spawn of the 84" tiger that is biting the heads off swans. A guy at the launch told me the DNR had shocked it up just to see what was killing the swans.

Ah, muskie fables... gotta love them!

Hey Don,

Wouldn't it be nice if you DID........then you could quit your day job and be the king of endorsements. That would be from every possible connection to the catch; all the involved equipment, lure, line, boat, sunglass manufacturers right on down to the underwear and shoe laces...lol! Gotta be worth over a mill for the world record.

Now me, I'd settle for the State of Minnesota record next week out of Mille Lacs and/or possibly Vermilion, but I think Mille Lacs is going to produce a new one sometime this year. On second thought, I'd like to bag my first 50 and I'd be VERY happy with that.

McGregor Bay for sure, and I'll get it on that Copper Carp, if it's ready....(hint, hint) but of course I'll post it as Mona Lake and caught on my own crankbait. Build up the tourism for Mkg Co.
