From the Mesikohmer school of fish handling science...

What a peckerwood!

After viewing that clip, click on "more from this user" and watch over half a dozen more "How not to handle a musky" videos. Did you find this by searching "delayed mortality"?

Obviously the guy has not been educated on the proper handling of musky.Hopefully the opportunity will present itself in the future.
I'm sure his intent is not to harm the fish, he just does'nt know any better.

Might as well have filleted that one! Prime example of why you should net bigger fish... that fish was completely exhausted when he finally grabbed it. Then, to throw it on the floor (looks like he is trying to remove every last bit of slime off the fish), keep it out of the water WAY too long, and then, the lady tries to fold it in half for her picture... a great reminder that education is as important as stocking fish. Hope this guys isn't a guide.

I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt except for a few things.

I believe he is a guide using this to promote his business

He turned off the comments feature which likely means he has been bitched at repeatedly for his technique

All the people are different with the big fish

Some people are just ignorant and like it that way, believe me there would have been some educating had he not had the comments disabled.

When he got on top of the fish and straddled it, I thought he was going to try and put on a submission hold like maybe a sleeper hold and wait for the musky to tap out.

I thought it was stupid yes on his part, but I couldn't help but laugh when he had it straddled. I was also waiting for some submission move to be executed lol.
