I've never had a Hoginator blow out up to when my boat starts trying to get on plane which is about 8.5 mph (GPS). Unless the bait has a lot of "wander", if it's tuned right most will handle over 6+ mph. Fastest we've ever caught a fish has been 7.2 mph on a Hoginator. I haven't pulled a Talonz Slasher that fast because it isn't the right tool for the job, a Slasher runs best at 4-4.5 mph.

No site, custom orders only. These are 7" baits (I think, I don't feel like digging one out and measuring it) Here's a pic of a few that have been chewed a few times. They have been altered to have only two hooks not three.

Some our Slashers in the straight versions will get up to 5/6 mph and stay down. The jointeds get to wild after 5 mph. I caught a fish on a Loke at 7.5 mph before but normally never go that fast. Mike

Hog's

I never thought they were close to the Slashers. Figured they were a long narrow bait to slice thru at a higher speed. Must be the wood or more weight to keep em down. Thanks guys.

WILL,
I SEE THAT THE HOGINATOR LINK ON THE SPONSER PAGE IS NOT ACTIVE. WHERE WOULD ONE INQUIRE ABOUT THESE?

There isn't a website for Hoginator lures so that doesn't link to anything. You can contact Tim through this site by sending a PM to: Hoginator

He should also be at the lure swap, I don't think he's missed one yet. He's usually ready to take orders at the swap and has samples of the baits they make.
