internal antenna

What is everyone's experience with GPS that hace an internal antenna? I already know what one Midland fellow has to say about them, though I dont remember the brand. Maybe it was just that one unit. Thanks.

I have a middle of the road color Garmin chartplotter with an internal antenna. Its behind my windshield and next to my graph. No issues whatsoever.

I have a lowrance 336 internal antenna GPS on the dash behind the windshield and sun top, no concerns, it works great.
