onboard wiring question
I am getting ready to install the onboard charger and noticed that 3 of the 4 wires have inline fuses. One that does not is one of the negatives. It's a two bank. Is that fuseless wire suppose to be a ground, like to the boat or something? If so, what battery should the positive wire of that set go to? I am at a total loss here.
I'm guessing here that the pair with fuses in BOTH + and – are for the starting battery; the pair with just the + fused will be for the trolling battery.
The extra fuse in the starting battery circuit is prolly to protect the external charger from the charging system in your motor, and keep the motor from frying the external one.
Didn't you get a manual?

I have been hunting for it but so far nothing. I looked again before I posted here. That was my guess for the wiring setup, just the one for the deep cycle. I will look further for the manual. Not in too much of a rush to get on the water this year. Thanks Hemi.
