Was going to fish it but don't agree with the size limit for the event.

yeah the 34" limit seems really small. I thought tournies like this were all catch and release? I guess ive only seen video of tournies on mille lacs where they just take pictures on a bump board. Do they bring in all the fish for an official measurement for these PMTTs?

The fish are retained for a judge boat to come measure the fish.

If this was something like the MMT or the Hartman tournament the size limit wouldn't be an issue.

Seems to me that keeping a 34" fish in a net while you wait for a judge to come and measure isn't very responsible. You'd think a bump board and pic would be enough?
