Opening day on Hudson

Post by Kingfisher »

A special thanks from the Michigan Musky Alliance to the young man who chose to release this 42 inch Musky opening day on Lake Hudson. You have chosen to enter into a bigger world where Muskies grow to the sizes that make your heart stop when you see them . Letting one go to fight another day is hard to do when it is your first fish . We are all very happy to say well done!! and welcome to MMA. There is a wealth of information here to help you and your 3 buddies to become avid Musky anglers and catch many more even bigger then the one you released. Feel free to email or pm any of us for help getting the right net and or other tackle to safely land and handle these great fish. Good luck in the Future Mike and Michelle

Yes it was on a rope. The fish seemed to be in pretty good shape. Water was cold (57 degrees) It swam off pretty fast.
