we were sitting in the lounge enjoying a few adult beverages before the band started and I had the pleasure of talking with a gentleman named Jim from PA. We were talking hunting and fishing (duh
) and he asked what I fish for in Michigan, I told him pretty much everything but I really like Musky fishing....Right away, he asked if I was a member of the muskie inc. club Michigan Muskie Alliance? I told him yes, and he said that he has heard that we as a club have done a ton of work to get Musky fishing in Michigan where it should be and he heard of our Iowa transfer program and the whole nine yards.. I was shocked this old guys from PAknew this stuff about us....He said he likes to Musky fish in PA in some of their rivers and has caught a "few" in the 50" range....
But it was pretty cool that 650 miles from home out of the blue someone
knew about our little club......Kinda made ya feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Or was it the adult beverages that gave me the warm and fuzzy feeling?? :D
