rods

Post by sabbatoy »

JP, I have been using the Cabelas Whuppin Stick heavy rods that are 8' long. They work great matched with Okuma 30 line counter reels. Been using this combo for about 8 years and not a problem. The rods go for aobut $29 bucks I think....Scott

Thanks Scott... and everyone else, its great being able to get an education before blowing $100's on the wrong stuff. I've got some Okuma convector 30 linecounter reels on the way and will make up my mind on the rods soon.
