lure making

Post by Lureless »

Anyone have some leads to lure making information? I started carving some but not sure what to use for the epoxy and eye screws. Its still cold and the tackle box can't get anymore organized. Time to try something new. Thanks

Lureless, try these couple places for hard ware and such. www.staminainc.com and www.jannsnetcraft.com these are both good sources for low volume components. They are component retailers. you can get catalogs mailed to you from both places. As for top coat epoxy I use Envirotec light . Menards carries it. For gluing lips in I use Super glue brand 4 to 6 minute two part epoxy( red plungers) . hope this helps. Kingfisher

Are the eye screws the same as the ones at the hardware store. Or are the ones they sell any stronger?

Stainless steel 1.25" to 1.5" eyescrews might be hard to find at a hardware store.
