membership

my dad sent in a membership application about a week ago, and wanted me to ask how he will be notified that he has become a member. He signed up for the supporting membership if it makes a difference, but he was wondering if he'll get notification in the mail or through email or something different? Thanks in advance for the reply.

The first contact he'll get is probably going to be the March issue of Figure Eight (the newsletter). This will arrive during the first week of March.
