ostego lake mi

im planning a trip may11 weekend to ostego lake and would like some info on muskies (location and type of baits) or maybe a trade a trip(i fish lake st clair) any help would be greatly appreciated......

Hey Nick,
Best bait might be a Beetle Spin because the only muskies in Otsego would be 5 or 6 inches, stocked last year at about half that size. The remnants of the earlier stockings are likely gone, since it has been 15 to 20 years since the last stocking. Otsego is a dandy walleye lake though with fish hanging around the deep weedline in the middle of the lake.

no kidding larry........guess i may have to revisit my plans .........where would you suggest in that area to try for muskie????????

How far do you want to travel and what kind of fish are you after?? Numbers or size?
