Weagle hooks
I am looking for the right hooks for my new 10 inch Slashers and the new Razor. These are both 10 inch lures and need big hooks but low proflie (short shank) . I really like the hooks on the Weagles. Who makes them? does anyone know? also can I get them in Nickel? Kingfisher
musky innovations
im not really sure if it whats youre looking for but the musky innovations/plasma hooks are short shanked/wide gap i believe. I have them in the really big sizes for the magdawgs so im not sure how they are in the smaller sizes. Again, not sure if they will work but just giving a some ideas.
The Musky Bandit strikes again!

Yes, the largest hook in that series is the 3/0 that's what you get on a Weagle. The Innovations hooks are Chinese made and are softer and I've heard some bad things about the Innovations hooks and I wouldn't put them on a trollling bait. I haven't had trouble with the 8/0 but maybe I've just been lucky. Everything I've got with the 8/0 is going to get new Mustad hooks this winter just to be safe.
Self interest is for the past, common interest is for the future.

Yes I agree, I dont want a soft Chinese hook. The VMC 5/0 may do the job. Also Mustad is sending me some samples of some odd hooks they dont list on their website. I may be able to get 7/0 doubles taken off the 3551 line before they weld the third prong on. 8) This might be the best way to go. Lots of testing ahead. Mike
